A to-the-point summary the changing values of American politicians and wealthy elites in the past few decades.
It was a clear summation of America's current political situation leading up to the election of Donald Trump. Tucker references the misguided actions and stubborn sentiments of many prominent figures from our ruling class that have contributed to this, addressing them each as they are relevant to the subjects of immigration, foreign wars, etc, each of which are detailed in their own chapter. Especially noteworthy is the perspective that he gives about the shifting in values of wealthy liberal politicians, who now cheer for positions that their voting bases denounced decades ago. If you're a fan of his prime-time commentary on Fox, you'll love is unrestrained and deeper analysis of the changing political landscape in the last few decades. As a member of generation Z, I can attest that this book was essential to understanding the lead-up to the society that I and many other young people have inherited.
