Nice finishing touch to major detailing job

I had a 2008 328i E90. Great car, drove it for 5 years after buying it as a CPO car from BMW. When it hit 180,000 miles I decided to replace it as my DD because I drive long distances every day. My daughter was turning 16 soon, so I gave her a choice: a new small Fiesta or Focus or similar, or I would spend $5,000 or so refreshing the BMW & then give it to her. She wanted the BMW. After everything mechanical was done, I did a refresh of interior with new floor mats, new tint film, new windshield (was pitted), etc. Did a compound followed by synthetic wax on the paint, buffed out headlight covers, etc. The car was always maintained well and the body very nice, no major dings. After all was done it looked great! Except the door pillars - tried a number of products but nothing worked well enough. Saw these and thought I would give them a try. I am very glad I did. They fit great, are easy to install, and finished the minor restoration project perfectly. It really made a difference, and that nine year old car looks fantastic. It is a car my newly-licensed daughter can be proud of, and one that has been gone through by BMW mechanics who found nothing of concern after the maintenance items like coolant flush, trans fluid & filter change, etc. were complete - so I feel good knowing she is in a fully operational, safe, reliable vehicle. If you are giving an older BMW a facelift, I would advise you to look at these.
