pop music

probably the most milquetoast recording he has made. I have thoroughly enjoyed this artist (i have the vast majority of his catalog) over many years (wish he would tour) but this is my least favorite. clearly an attempt to break into the pop market, newly using women back up singers and much more mellow. that being said, the song honky tonkin (in mississippi) is a keeper. this disc was a major disappointment
