Lot of amp for the money if you're buying used.
2 of 2 found this helpful I think this does actually qualify as awesome sauce.
ATI amp, 60 watts per channel, no big deal, right?
That's all channels driven.
If you have the means for creating an inverted phase signal (like balanced outputs), the amplifier can be bridged for 220 watts per channel.
Only cons are control requires CresNet via a Crestron control processor if you don't want to manually hit the Bypass switch, it is heavy, and it idles at about 100 watts, last I checked, which means that you need ventillation.
I wouldn't mind balanced inputs and input gain controls, but all things considered, rolled into the second hand pricing, great deal, particularly if you wanted an amplifier around which to run a fully active audiophile system. Plenty of channels to work with.

Way better than I expected.
This product does in fact qualify as awesome sauce.
Lots of filter options if you know how to apply them, white noise is a little high, but addressable with attenuation at the amplifier input, sound quality is otherwise VERY good.

Functional all around amplifier.
1 of 1 found this helpful I didn't give it five stars, because it isn't actually 'Awesome Sauce' like the Crestron Amps that were made by ATI, but for what it is, I think it's better than fine.
It's a class 'H' amplifier, meaning that it runs dynamic rail voltage, with analog output stages. I have no use for the 70 volt 'voice' or channel, but given the resale price of used Crestron gear, and the fact that this amplifier has a 'Bypass' switch that allows you to use it without a Crestron control system, I think this is a great value if you're buying them for under $100. In my opinion, i'd opt for one of these used units as a stereo amplifier over most new amplifiers selling for $350 or more, if your priorities are good sound quality (though maybe not dedicated audiophile, sit down in your sweet spot and nerd out amps, though they'd be great for mid-bass amplifiers in a fully active system), and also need something that will take some abuse, and don't want to spend very much cash to do it, I'd definitely recommend picking up one of these used.
You can definitely get better, but it'll cost a lot more.
