Looks great, sounds great and for a low price.
This is a great looking amplifier, besides that it has a lot of power. I did run extra 4 awg wire from alternator to batt. And extra 4 awg ground to the batt. From there 0 awg power to the amp, and 0 awg ground to car chasis. With the gain only 1/8 the way up my kicker 15" cv r is so loud I can't hear myself think. I was sceptical at first because other true 1600 watt amps cost $180 and up. And the fact that power acustik makes soundstream amps now I was not expecting to get true rms wattage, but this amp delievers. I own a lot of different amps new and old ,Rockford, JL, Kicker, Hifonics and Soundstream. This Rubicon is worth the $150.

Great amp
2 of 2 found this helpful First this amp looks so nice I wanted to hang it on my wall. As far as power, YES! This thing is so powerful, I have the gain below a quarter turn. My 2 10" alpine type r' s are shaking my whole van! I've added 4 more 6.5's to keep up with the bass I now have. I had the 1700.1 hifonics brutus elite before this amp, and it was good just not enough power. I have a stock 160 amp alternator, but beefed up all my wires. Awesome amp! Great sound and tons of power! I might buy a second one.

Compact and POWERFUL!
1 of 1 found this helpful I saw the amp dyno video on this and I was sold. Recieved it and couldn't wait to hook it up. I replaced an hifonics Brutus 1200.4 with it and man, this amp is less than half the size of the Brutus but every bit as powerful. Both of the amps I mentioned are good, powerful amps, with great sq, only difference is the Soundstream is way smaller. 2 photos ; first is the Soundstream Trantula nano ; second is the Hifonics Brutus. That's the difference between class d ; and class a/b.
