Professional Quality at entry-level prices!!
3 of 3 found this helpful These have to be the most under-rated cymbals on the market. Everyone knows the excellent reputation of the chinas, but hardly anything is said regarding Wuhan's other products.
I've been an "unofficial" endorser of their entire cymbal line for over 2 years. I cannot state this enough - THEY ARE THE MOST MUSICAL PRODUCTS I'VE EVER USED!! I've played professionally for over 25 years and have tried them all. Wuhan has the most balance and blend of warmth and projection; I literally have no intention of ever using another brand.
I'm currently using their 8, 10, & 12" splashes; 2 18" crash/rides; a 16" crash; a 20" medium ride; and 14" hi hats (and of course, a Wuhan china!) I use these live every week and in my studio. I'm NEVER disappointed.
I have not used the Thin line of cymbals (or the ones with the "S" logo), so I can't comment on those. I have cracked several in the 2 years, but their prices are so reasonable that replacements are never an issue. They have a hand-made quality and unique personalities, plus the brilliant finish is gorgeous! In my opinion, these are ultra affordable pro-quality cymbals.

Terrible effects on me!!
Looked like a good choice when I read the description, and I realize it works great for many people. Just not me! It made me extremely tired, and gave me diarrhea. Yes, the neon yellow urine is fun, but I will get my kicks somewhere else

1 of 1 found this helpful Overall, it's just OK. The lighted keys are fairly dim with only an on/off control. Some of the characters are hard to make out while others are very clear. If you don't know the keyboard well, you'll spend extra time "finding" the characters you need. The light is necessary if you want to see anything (since nothing is actually printed on each key) I've only had it a week, so I can't speak to it's durability. The keys are low profile and pretty quiet.
