Milwaukee M18 FUEL 7-1/4 in. Compound Miter Saw (Bare Tool) 2733-20 New

Light, portable and accurate.

I love this tool. I wanted a lightweight portable saw to supplement my Festool MFT/track saw system for cross cuts on small stock where the MFT is not so hot. Portability, accuracy and dust control are main priorities. Obviously the blade size limits what stock can be cut but the flip side is it weighs under 30 pounds. No fence adjustments were needed out of the box and seems to cut just fine with the included blade, but I will try others as 7-1/4" blades are everywhere. I will be adding a shop made zero clearance fence for use where I want minimal tearout, but otherwise a great tool for the intended use. Dustport plugs right in to my Festool vac and seems to have pretty good function, maybe 4 out of 5 on this count. The factory clamp is fairly clunky and they could do better on this part of the tool. This saw pushed me to purchase multiple Milwaukee M18 system tools and they are all great - if you need a light duty accurate saw don't hesitate to grab one of these.

These are really strong running with great service life. Fraction of the cost of factory model and seems to run very long.
