Could be a lot better
4 of 4 found this helpful The next version of this will probably a lot better, and you might be advised to wait for it. The camera needs to be operated from a smart phone app. There are 2 similar apps available: SnapBridge, which doesn't work with this camera, and SnapBridge 360 170, which does. Once you get the correct app installed and running, linking the camera to the mobile device is a difficult process which sometimes just doesn't work for reasons that are never clear. And when you do manage to link them, control is clunky and difficult. Bluetooth range is limited to a few feet, and control over camera settings requires a lot of trial and error. The manual is, as usual, almost completely useless. Having said all of that, however, the image quality is surprisingly good, and as long as your subjects are several feet away, there isn't much of a line where the images are fused. This is a very interesting format with a ton of possibilities. Hosting images or video for distribution is another of those topics that isn't discussed in the documentation, but YouTube 360 seems to be working well.

Not really worse than I expected
May work better on some other kinds of dogs but not the Chows with whom I share my residence.
