fraudulent item. maybe counterfeit. hero3+ black faceplate, hero 3 silver model #, who knows? doesn't work. turns on but wont record.
its not a gopro hero 3+ black edition. and the one i got wont even let me start recording or change any settings. i can only turn it on and go thru menu. when i went to register it as a new device on gopro site, so i can run update firmware, the site rejected the numbers in battery compartment. which look much smaller than my gopro 3 numbers. under further inspection i looked up the model # and it came back as hero 3 silver edition, not hero3+ or black edition. i think its counterfeit camera. and again it doesnt record manually. total waste of time, and money held in limbo. what factory refurbished it? cause gopro wouldnt have put the wrong faceplate on a refurbished item. so are these counterfeit or 3rd party horrible repair? cause again it doesn't WORK.
