Loving the unlovable polar Milgauss
2 of 2 found this helpful Large, comfy, modern, stylish, easy to read with a touch of uniqueness. Love the modern rolex with 904L steel with it's almost white gold look. Like it better than a colleague's brand new stainless steel datejust at almost one third the price.

Great camera, great features, exceptional value.
1 of 1 found this helpful Thank you Ken Rockwell for so highly recommending this camera! The one I bought was like new, and contained 90% of the features of its successor (and the remaining 10% I didn't care about in the first place). Like I'm really going to notice the extra pixels on the D7100.
Though...I wish it had a built in HDR setting like the D5100, D5200 or D5300.
More than a worthy successor to the D90; it's more of an update to the D300s. It's a bargain at its price point vs features. And newbs can start of with its auto and scene mode training wheels until they feel comfortable using the advanced features of this camera.

Simple to use, effective, well made and designed for general purpose snaps.
1 of 2 found this helpful Ken Rockwell is right, this IS the best general purpose Nikon flash.
Two AA batteries power this up quickly and provide tons of flashes unlike the newer SB-300.
Small size, compact and light, but well made.
Simple to use and read controls: lock switch, on off switch and ready light.
Works with iTTL mode, let's your nikon DSLR call the shots in all PASM and auto modes, no need to manually set up every aspect as you do with most third party flashes.
Flips up for bouncing light off the ceiling, no more washed out flashed snaps.
ONLY negative is that it doesn't left or right to bounce off a wall.
I also have a SB-600, but since I'm not a true professional making money from portrait shots in a studio, this simple little gem works well for almost all of my needs. Unlike it's big brother, I'll throw this in a bag without a second's hesitation.
