Sisterchicks Do the Hula!
After reading SISTERCHICKS ON THE LOOSE!, I eagerly looked for this second Sisterchicks book. It did not disappoint. College roommates / best friends Hope and Laurie celebrate their 40th birthdays in Hawaii on a "girls only" trip - well, girls only plus Hope's unexpected bun-in-the-oven passenger. As they experience and discuss the exotic island tourist activities on their itinerary, they also take of voyage of the spirit resulting in self discovery and a new view of God's care.
The very best in Christian fiction opens windows in your own soul, helping your see yourself and God more clearly. This is the very best!

Glad to have it
A little more "used" than expected...more underlining and written answers - but the book is great, and was a much more affordable price for my pocketbook, so am thankful to have it.

Sisterchicks on the Loose
An exuberant celebration of the way best friends help each other understand life, themselves, and God's grace. Free-spirited Penny and conservative Hope travel to Finland to trace Penny's relatives. Penny is in charge of planning the trip, so Hope faces a number of surprises. This one is laugh-out-loud funny, but gave me many "aha" moments by gently uncovering my own hidden fears and inadequacies. But as with all Robin's books, I came away with hope in God's tender, loving involvement in my life. After reading this, I spent time thinking of what MY best friend means to me, and how she enlarges my life.
I've enjoyed many of Robin's previous books, so snatched this up. It exceeded all expectations!
