Classic. Skip the Dobson commentary.
Endurance is a classic, must-read, book for everyone. Even though the doomed expedition to the South Pole is well over 100 years old, and the book itself was published mid-2000th century, it still holds up today. Around every page lurks yet another disaster for Shakleton and his crew of 28 stalwart men.
The only gripe I had about this edition was the unwanted intrusion from "Doctor" James Dobson. When I purchased this book, it was not made clear that it came from a Christian Reading room. Dr. Dobson's skill in writing was no where comparable to Lansings. By stuffing his own and far-overreaching opinions on Shackelton's thoughts during the voyage, it colored some of the book in a distasteful light. Other than this minor slip, Endurance is.... enduring.

Great PPE for forestry and first responder work.
Brand new, with an extra set of replacement ear buds I used for my old pair. Light weight, and rest comfortably on my neck when I don't need them.
