Does what it was made to do.
It could use a mounded rubber or foam insert on base to keep large spools from moving too much. I have a foam cone that fits inside my spools for this, but it would be nice to have one mounted on the base.

Great convenience!
Holds several different sizes of spools. Love the fact that it can be either set on a table top or hung on the wall. Hung both of mine to keep table space clear, and they are fantastically out of the way yet close by and at close reach.

Great item!
Oiled up nicely and rust buffed off. Very, very sharp! Just like New. Easy to use, great for sewing.
