Ink Cartridge (HP51604A)

Ink Cartridge (HP51604A) I use this type cartridge on a Brother Brand, Check Writer CW-600. The cartridges are good though each time, before beginning printing at least one or more check(s), the user has to purge and wipe off the dried or excess ink from the previous print session. Constant and continually printing works great, these cartridges deliver a satisfactory printout. The "purge and wipe off" scenario wastes ink and therefore renewing cartridges becomes more frequent. Printing one or two items at a time, with long periods of sitting idle (infrequent usage) seems to shorten the longevity. The cartridges, though passed the expiration date by up to 2 to 3 years, works equally well. I store the new, unopened in my refrigerator which further extend the life. The prices are good on Ebay than anywhere else. Hope this review helps others, CL
