Fred Bock - Always Interesting
As usual, Fred Bock is great. As a professional church organist, if I get one great arrangement from a book I’ve done well. The “Now Thank We All Our God” arrangement is my favorite in this collection.

Amazing Product With Wide Application
Have been using this product for years not only on feet, but arms, legs, face. Have been asked, even by other men, about my skin. That tells the story...

Don't Waste Your Money Or Your Time On the 265WT
5 of 17 found this helpful This is an awful device. First we tried the higher end Garmin sold at Costco. It took forever to get a satellite signal, and then, regardless of settings (fastest, shortest, most economical route) took us on circuitous, unnecessary routes. Took it back in utter disgust. Price had not been any consideration.
So we tried the $169 265WT from Costco (Item 386383) at the suggestion of a store employee who said he's sold several to friends who are happy with them (they must not be going far from home). The 265WT also took a very long time to pick up a signal. We live in San Diego County in an area not blocked by big buildings or mountains and still crummy satellite service.
Needed to go to Whittier, CA, east of Los Angeles. Checked with Google Maps and Mapquest in advance. They both had the same directions. But not Garmin. Regardless of settings on the 265WT, it routed us off the freeway 10-12 miles early and on a diagonal of surface streets, while Google and Mapquest took us a little further up the 5 freeway and then east on the 610 to within a couple of miles of our destination.
We could see this in advance, so we took the HORRIFICALLY LONG TIME to download Garmin's map updates, just hoping for some improvement. No difference. The Mac could see the Garmin and vice-versa, as it did upload the newer maps.
Went back to Mapquest as it apparently has a "send" to GPS capability. The system came back and said there was no Garmin attached. That was enough for us. We printed the directions and made our trip, leaving the Garmin back in the box ready to return to Costco. Today it is unapologetically going back. It is a useless "toy", and that's being charitable.
There seem to be a zillion reviews of specific GPS units, whether here on eBay or on Amazon. We have yet to find one that has primarily all positive reports. That's silly. About as silly as Garmin having a massive number of models with none receiving consistently good marks. Hello. One would think it's time for a major housecleaning of senior management in that company.
Back to Google Maps and our printer we go... sadly, and wishing that Google would just get into the GPS business as they seem to do things right. But that probably makes too much sense.
