Everything you need for geocaching in a small package!
What's not to like about the Dakota 20? Well maybe the touchscreen could be a little brighter in bright light, but that can be remedied by adjusting the way you hold it. Otherwise, this is the perfect geocaching machine for me. I own 3 of them! It is small, very accurate, the batteries last a long time, it displays google earth images, and it has the capability for paperless geocaching. This is what I primarily use it for, and it is the best machine for this purpose! You can easily download hundreds of geocaches to its memory, and utilize its menu to look at descriptions, logs, and hints right on its display! The micro SD memory slot is very handy to store extra maps. I have the optional North America City Navigator maps on the memory card, and store geocaches, custom maps, and other waypoints on the internal memory. The onboard altimeter and electronic compass are nice to have, too. All in all, this is the perfect machine to take geocaching!

Lot 10 Pcs New 9V Battery Snap Connector Clip Lead Wires Holder I Type Black us

Cheap connector, but useable
If you want the cheapest clip for the price, this is it, but don't expect a high quality item that will last forever. I bought this set of 10 for a miniscule price to connect nine volt batteries to my arduino microcontroller projects. They work okay, but they won't last through continuous use. the lead wires are VERY thin, and the female connector clip does not keep it's shape very well. Otherwise, they are a fairly good value for casual use.

I am very happy with this little wonder of a hiking and geocaching tool!
After buying, using, and selling over 100 GPS receivers over the years, this is my favorite (for now). It may not be the most expensive or have all the popular features, but it certainly works well for me as a tool for hiking and geocaching. I like the small size, easy to use controls and menus, and its ability to display all kinds of maps like Google Earth, road, and topographic. It is great for paperless geocaching, where cache descriptions, logs, and hints are easily displayed. What don't I like? The earlier software versions installed in the device caused the position to "stick." You would be moving, but the position arrow did not. This problem has been fixed by updates, and I do not notice any of this sticking anymore. I would also like a real compass, not a GPS compass. I want to tell directions without having to move. The eTrex 30 has one, but I was not willing to spend an extra $90 for this one feature. To protect my eTrex, I use a screen saver, plus a Garmin Dakota silicone case that fits this GPSr pretty well.
