The custom made shredder is certainly heavier duty than the OEM shredder and for the same price, even though expensive, a better buy

1 of 1 found this helpful Received what I ordered, but would have helped to have received some basic helpful instructions.
It is not a complicated tool, however it does have two horizontal spacer thumb screws to keep the lifter ends spaced properly. Since these spring out when pressure applied on them from valve spring retainers, it took several tries to figure out correct spacing to begin with to keep retainers from pulling through the claws when forcing above and below retainers to compress valve springs. Otherwise it works fine, just more difficult than I thought it would be.
