Beautiful visual quality with TONS of bonus features.
1 of 1 found this helpful If you love Trek and you think you're getting everything on Netflix, I gotta say NUH-UH! The great thing about discs is that you get bonus features that are never on any of the streaming sites, so if you're really interested in Trek, consider discs for all of the awesome bonus features. Especially this series, which had levels of network and franchise interference that was unheard-of for the three previous series. If you really want to know "WHY did they do THAT?," bonus features are the place where you might find out stuff like that. The visual quality is quite good because it was mostly filmed in HD or at least higher quality than any of the other series. Really happy with my purchase, and just FYI, even if you own the DVDs there are WAY more extras on the Blu Rays, so maybe consider upgrading...
