This graphics card has enough extra 'umph' to Handel the two 24" monitors I use. Good response, good performance overall!

Palm Treo Pro looks good but falls short!
1 of 1 found this helpful Once I received this good looking phone I liked it instantly! The design is as others have said very good. I've been a palm fan since the Treo 600 cam out and still am. That said I think Palm missed the boat on this one. The Windows platform sucks the big one with this version. I didn't find it user friendly at all. It my have indeed been this unit as I couldn't connect to Verizon's data plan or would it successfully download my contact information or my notes or my schedules from my PC. Very disappointing in that respect. I liked the feel of the phone in my hand, and I liked the keyboard as well. I really had a user friendly feel to those two fields, however switching between apps left me confused at times as to why it responds in such an odd fashion. I missed those shortcut buttons that were on my Treo 600 & 700 (with the Palm OS operating system) and those should have stayed. I would have liked to have access more easily to my contacts so I could scroll through them if I needed to find someone whose name I couldn't remember! Some of the problem may have been with my particular phone as I have returned it due to it's inability to access the Verizon data network. I also had issues with it connecting to wifi networks as well, not easy to configure maybe the phone or maybe the Windows mobile (it wouldn't surprise me if it was the Windows mobile.) I'm not a Windows hatter here as I have heard other complain about Windows for as long as I can recall, I use Windows on all my computers and by and large they work OK, however I've yet to successfully have a good outing with the mobile devices I've tried. I only have attempted to use it on my Treo 700 when it cam out and I returned it to Verizon right away as well. So with out the professional background some of the reviewers have or maybe it's just I don't find myself as an accomplished or very advanced user of such products I have a opinion from simply a middle of the road average consumer, Palm gets a thumbs down from me on the overall package.
