Killer volume and sound
1 of 1 found this helpful Played a livecoded gig using this for audio via Bluetooth from my laptop. It absolutely rocked a small outdoor venue, not interested in lugging a PA around any more.
also, it runs on battery so power optional 😁

Nice screen/materials, but heat dissipation issues affect performance
Lovely screen, form factor and feel
Poor heatsink/dissipation system means it's throttling the cpu for any intensive workloads, and since the thermal system is shared between the cpu and charging circuitry the charging rate drops the moment you do anything intensive.
There is a decent amount of content available on the internet dedicated to hacking/improving the thermal performance, this is not an avenue I'm interested in pursuing.
Linux support is ok, but the suspend to ram under linux is basically non-functional - it seems to suspend, but the battery draw is very high and will not last more than 12h. I've tested this under a variety of different distributions.
In summary, it has issues - they may or may not affect you, they most certainly affect me but the upgrade from my previous machine (8th gen i7) is still worth it (just).
