Better than the Original
Better looking and more modern looking than the older model and quality, despite what some say is just as good. The metal surround is just as heavy duty as the older version and the pull on the switches is just as firm. OK you don't have enormous great light bulbs and the fat wiring that went with them but why would you want that? Instead you have LED's which only require thin wiring. The switch mechanism is lighter plastic to modern standards and doesn't need to be clunkingly heavy like the old version.
Some have said its loose and flimsy but they haven't worked out how to fit it properly so its tight to the wall. When you screw the inner plastic switch mechanism to the patress or box you have to make sure its not too far in or too far out from the wall before screwing the metal surround on. IF YOU USE THE RETAINING SCREWS FROM YOUR OLD UNIT YOU MUST USE NEW MATCHING STARLOCK WASHERS AT THE BACK TO STOP THE SWITCH UNIT MOVING BACK!! If you don't have a suitable starlock washer handy then place 3 over size nuts behind the retainer on the switch unit for the screw to loosely go through, just to stop the switch unit moving back into the cavity. Or use a suitable self tapping screw

Good Device
Though it's made by McAlpine it's hard to find anywhere other than eBay.
Needed this as I was changing to a back to wall toilet where the spigot was too short to reach the waste pipe.
The cut end that fits into the waste pipe is a bit wider than the spigot on the old toilet and not tapered so I initially found it difficult to get it into the waste pipe and I began to wonder if I bought the correct item. Then I remembered the washing up liquid trick and spread it on the inner rubber skirting of the main waste pipe which needs to slip fully over the pipe end of the extension pipe. After a firm shove it went on and I was happy, and ready to do the business

Good- Just make sure you have a high speed internet connection
Tried it with an an ordinary internet connection and nada. Tried it with super speed connection and again nada. Left it overnight connected to the internet and at the point of returning it, I tried it one more time and bingo, the channels came up. Picture quality is crystal clear.
The instructions are absolute rubbish. You'll need to go to network settings an choose either ethernet or wi fi. Then go to multimedia and choose the IPTV written on the docket and the channels will come up
