Holy Stone HS100 FPV WiFi RC Drone With 1080P HD Camera GPS 2.4G RTF Quadcopter

Great step up from toy drones!!!
I have had many different drones from Holy Stone and other brands. I wanted to write a quick review of my latest drone I purchased, the HS100 from Holystone...I have a couple young boys and we have had mostly small drones that we fly around inside so we were excited to get this, a step beyond the "toy" drone into more of a serious machine....this definitely needs adult supervision but it still flies basically the same as other Holy Stone drones, pretty straightforward and my kids do well....here is a quick list of what I like about this one *good packaging, includes extra parts such as gear, props, screws, grease, etc since although they are tough and well built things do break over time *the remote has an internal rechargeable battery which uses a special cord to connect to a standard phone cube or USB port *comes with 2 big batterys that last well over 10 minutes, they use the same cord to charge *big, solid drone that is well built *uses a light system to guide you thru the calibration and setup *has a dedicated app that works well *built in GPS that allows "return to home", "follow me" and other such features...also with the GPS connected you don't have to adjust the trim meaning that it will stay in the position you leave it and not drift around *works good in light winds *built in 1080 camera that takes video and pics on its own little card which you can put in a USB stick reader and then transfer to a computer, or it will just save the pics/videos on your phone if you have the app running.... *you can fairly easily select what mode you want....you can just fly it around inside with the GPS off and no phone attached or you can fly it around with the GPS on/off and with or without the phone app, depending on what you want to achieve and feel like doing.... not many complaints, one that comes to mind is that it would be nice to have another one of the charging cords instead of just one but not a big deal... overall this is a great drone for someone wanting to go beyond the toy drone level, this is a capable machine that can fly outside and take advantage of GPS technology....also you can get some real pics and videos of good quality and easily store them...I haven't had it for too long but based on other Holy Stone drones I have had I expect it to last and be trouble free!
