3 of 4 found this helpful OK so we are pretty happy with the TomTom considering what we paid for it.
We bought 2 because both I and my husband needed one. They were about $78 each.
The GPSs were refurbished but we didn't care about that. They looked like brand new units in new packaging with basic accessories.
I like the way it mounts, you can either mount it to your windshield or it comes with an adhesive backed disc that you can mount to a different surface like your dash.
Cool, big speaker.
There is soooo much stuff you can program into it like, points of interest of anykind. Gas stations, banks, restaurants, stores, airports, etc....the list goes on and on. I haven't had time to see all the features.
The display is good. There are 2 views, a horizon view and a 2D view.
I feel like I'm about to drive off the edge of the earth when I am in horizon view you can also pick you color shemes and directional voices..
So far the only thing I'm not crazy about is the price of the map downloads. I don't have any idea about how current the maps are that came with this, but it cost about $70 to download maps. You can also download additional voices, some are free, but most of the ones I listened to were kind of cheesy.
