Needs precise adjustment.
Once it's been adjusted with a proactor, you may get a decent sound. But it can do better, trust it. If its sound is other than perfect, try to fine-tune it by ear (be very light to stay around the tracking point). Then you'll find out how perfect the stereo balance, sound stage, tracking, details and tonal balance are. This cartridge is as good or better than any 600+ newer cartridges.
