Very nice entry level gouache set
2 of 2 found this helpful Good quality gouache that lays down well with that distinctive matte/chalky finish. Darker colors will require a few applications in order to achieve a deep tone. Not the best quality available (Holbein Artists' Gouache is my favorite) but it's perfect for exercises or drafts. I'm very happy.

One product, many uses
This translucent gel dries matte, can be mixed with any acrylic color and extends paint volume. It also slows drying time and makes blending a lot easier, especially when using heavy body acrylics. Do not mix with oil paintings and don't add more than 25% water to it. It can also be used as a transparent ground for acrylic paintings. I love it!
