Very well made in materials, precision, design, etc I did round some sharp corners.

The cheapest I could find, and as good as the best handles, functionally.
3 of 3 found this helpful These are made in China, probably of Chinese Elm. That is a weed like tree that makes very good file handles. I bought 30 and of them and only split one. That one I drilled from the other end and used it anyway. The split did not promulgate. I got all 30 installed by using three different drills and fixturing a tall magnetic V block in the drill press vise. When I put the next handle in, it was already centered. I then chose different combinations of the 3 drills to fit the taper of the tang of any of my eclectic collection of files.
I may buy another 30 handles.
