Works OK with some learning. Not good to heat water for just 1 person.
Needs at least two cups of water to work well. It gets confused and all lights start flashing sometimes. Pour cold water in the kettle to reset the thermostat (I assume) stops this. I wonder if I got a bum kettle or it's just the design. Also works best for us if the warming button is always turned off since we generally empty the kettle or else the kettle goes into its panic mode. It ttk a while to figure this all out
