If purchasing this for UK use you will need to buy a Step down voltage converter. I bought a single adapter 230v - 110v, for use with with a maximum power of 45 watts. This projector is only 5 w, so this adapter was more than enough. Product has very realistic sound effect. The images are colourful and different sizes, however would be enhanced further if the visual effect was moving, like an expanding firework. The children thought it was cool and my profoundly disabled son (who I bought it for) was mesmerised.
