Excellent, reasonably priced, bluetooth headset
Headset is comfortable to wear and easy to fit on the ear. It can be adjusted for either ear. The headset is easy to operate and the volume can be adjusted as required. A big advantage and the main reason for the purchase of this model, is that it is battery operated so no recharge problems. Pairing with a mobile is straightforward. The instruction booklet is easy to understand. Altogether a very good and functional product with nothing to criticise!

NEW American Girl Diabetes Care Kit for your Doll!
This is excellent for role play with a child who suffers from diabetes. It is advertised for 18" dolls but it is not really size specific. It can be used with dolls/action figures - even super heroes or even cuddly toys. With the exception of the store bag the rest of the kit is very small so is not suitable for any child who still puts everything into his/her mouth. The plastic tubing attached to the pretend plastic pump attaches to the doll or play figure with a sticky label or sticking plaster. None of the items in the kit have sharp dangerous edges. The child can collect a pretend blood sample for glucose testing and then pretend to enter data into the pump. There is a pretend insulin injection pen and pretend emergency glucose tablet container. Everything can be stored in the bag provided and it can double as the emergency bag for the doll/figure comparing with the emergency bag that the diabetic child has always to have with him/her. I think that the kit lends itself to role play with adult and child. I play with my 3 year old granddaughter who is delighted to have three dolls like her with the same specific needs which we explore in tea or birthday party situations. In my opinion the role play helps the child to come to terms with his/her situation and helps to normalize it. It is expensive at £34 and does incur customs charges if bought from outside Europe but in my opinion it is worth it. I have two minor criticisms. A pump bag to fit round the figure's waist and hold the pretend pump is not included but it is easy to make. And if the items in the kit were 50% larger everything would still fit into the bag and I think that would be an improvement. But these are minor compared with the advantages for and the benefits from the play experience for the diabetic child and his/her non diabetic playmates.

Brilliant little camera
I bought this to replace one that stopped working after 5 years - probably from over use!!. It is an excellent little camera, can be carried in a pocket, round the neck, in a handbag. So easy to use, it is idiot proof and the pictures get taken immediately-no delay. Good quality picture even when printed A4 size. Children love it and can easily use it. I keep it in my bag to take quick pics of children's good work and then print them for display. Fantastic! As I haven't used it for taking videos, I cannot comment on this facility.
