Positive until proven wrong
I had to leave this toothbrush charging for a week. I was ready to throw it away but pushed the power button one more time. I was amazed when it started. That was a week ago and it continues to work great, however I would hesitate to say right now that it is durable. Only time will tell and, but I'm hopefull.
