Excellent, well made unit but need to be patient with menus!
Looks good, slim, quite easy to use without always needing to refer to the manual, good editing features. Fast recording where permitted is excellent. Front menu on finalised DVDs also smart.
Negative points: the menus are slow and there is an appreciable delay for some menus to appear and leads to pressing remote buttons twice or three times (so losing the menu or doing something you didn't want to do)... very frustrating until you get used to it.

Good warm sound
These are brilliant all-round strings, giving a good, warm sound and loud when required. They seem to be best suited to 'intermediate' instruments.
I couldn't give 5 stars because the 'A' string I found very weak and breaks after only 4 - 6 months, if that. I have had 3 sets on my viola, and all 3 'A's broke, one after only 3 months' use (orchestral playing). I change them each year, and now use a Jargar 'A'.

Very moving!
1 of 1 found this helpful This film is superbly done and portrays life in Kenya at the time. Richard Harris plays the part of quiet George Adamson so well, and is very close to actual way of life in Kenya at the time. I was in Kenya myself at the time of both George and Joy, so this film has particular meaning. As a true life story? Pretty close, I think... I can recommend it wholeheartedly! (This purchase was made to replace my original DVD which I had loaned out and never got back - I could not be without it on my shelf!)
