Long Time TiVo User Here
As a long time TiVo user, I do not like (1) the TiVo commercial that plays before every play of a recording, requiring you to hit Skip each time, (2) the fact that the TiVo remote will not turn off my Sony TV, but turns it on just fine, (3) the incessant TiVo+ channel content that clutters up the Guide. The box is much faster than my old TiVo Premiere 4, however I suspect they slow down older models on purpose over time due to continual updates - my experience with each of my former TiVo boxes over the past 20 years.
