Phonics is a fun and easy way to learn to read.
Every child in public school needs systematic phonics instruction before "guess a word" and "common core" "Whole Language" causes damage to their reading ability. These workbooks reinforce phonics lessons and I highly recommend them.

Great Phonics Readers!
Great collection of eleven phonics readers written by the late, great Samuel L. Blumenfeld in one soft, easy to use book. The books start simple CVC and advance gradually. I use them with Alpha Phonics, along with the other phonics programs I teach. Don Potter shares so many great reading programs on his web pages, that helps so many to read. donpotter dot net
