Great kit but it does have one glaring issue

This is a great project if you have some experience putting electronics together I will say though an issue I noticed is the transformer to power everything in the amp may actually be a little problematic. Its intended for either 110v or 220v and at those voltages it would output 230v which is below the voltage rating for all the parts so mathematically everything works out. However, in many places in the US where the outlet voltage is 120v this becomes an issue as it outputs about 250v putting it over the voltage rating of a few components and while the amp works amazingly well said components get HOT rather fast and put out a not too pleasant smell. This could probably be solved by adding a few resistors to bring the voltage down or with a step down transformer. Though i suppose if youre already in there putting the thing together the resistor option is a no-brainer. In summary its a great kit but it does have one glaring issue
