Great design sturdy glass and top handle does not get warm
Love this kettle got it recently due to all my previous ones rusting out and wanted something non-metallic. The kettle due to its large base at bottom boils water rapidly. I usually set the burner to 50% for a slow (10 min) boil, but if I do 100% w/ burner it boils in about 6-7 mins. The other piece with 2 balls goes in the top of the kettle and that is what prevents the handle from getting warm (that device has a hole through the center to allow steam to escape). Overall I love this kettle. I hope the glass aspect of it holds up with durability. One other tip - I have a small thermometer for making candy/cheese and I put that in the spout of this kettle to easily see temp as it boils. Perfect for achieving proper 200F boil for pressed coffee.
