Best possible version of ZULU (excluding hypothetical 4k and 3D versions)
2 of 2 found this helpful The price and completeness of this release has no rival: it is the superior U.S. version- not the U.K. version that edits out the courageous fighting of the injured "Natal Police" personage.

JAG: Superior series-only a few weak episodes.
1 of 1 found this helpful If you've watched the first nine seasons it's a given that you'll want to watch the final (i.e. 10th) season. It had to end somehow. The writers did a worse job on a few episodes in this season than they did in the vast majority of the episodes in the previous nine seasons. I just don't like it when any show has actors watching entertainment for extended periods of time thus compelling you to do the same. This had occured in part of the ninth season as well. The development of new characters in the ninth and tenth season could lead one to believe that this show would continue much longer -yet in the end served to merely illustrate that life goes on in the navy's JAG despite the natural evolution of the main characters lives. The newer characters also serve to titilate a potential audience into believing it may be possible for JAG to continue indefinitely -too bad it didn't. The potential for an ongoing series perhaps in another incarnation would be exciting because there is simply so much writing potential in the Navy/Marine Corps JAG concept which this series employed with excellent character development and interpersonal dynamics. One of the very best television series I've ever seen with such universal appeal and strong writing. Overall for the entire series I rate it as excellent....I'm so sad to see it go.
