"Insider view of politics and TV journalism"
Interesting political drama that shows the ins and outs of how deals are made (or not) along with the television journalists and executives who cover them. The principal characters are interesting and are presented in a realistic manner, showing both their strengths and weaknesses. There are also interesting subplots. Highly worth watching.

Fast read with insider knowledge
If you like political novels, you'll enjoy this one. Written by someone who has obviously been there, it moves along at a fast pace with interesting characters. It is the first of three novels set with the same president in power, and will definitely move you to go on to the next one.
