Nokia Express music 5800

Basically, a very fine mobile phone.Lots of excellent features and very good sound reception and battery life.When reviewing most phones, people talk about 'down loads', or how long it takes to connect to web etc.To my way of thinking although this is part of it, it after all A PHONE !!and should be reviewed on that basis. The slide buttons on the side are not easy to use, nor is the touch screen one of the best for texting.Many of the features are hidden away and need many presses of the screen to find them/change them and the instruction book is short on good basic explanation leaving the user heading for the internet to get more help to find out how to use many of the fatures. Nokia is not alone with this as most phones now assume that it is only teenagers or'geeks' that buy mobile phones and wish to play with all the buttons. As I have said, the phone features are well up to the usual Nokia standard, but the touch screen is not the best as a phone? yes, a good solid performer, as an Ipod rival then not yet quite there . I bought it to get good reception and to use as a working tool...phone, text, address book, reception etc and it does this very well. Nokia could get many more 'brownie points' if they wrote a better instruction book.We are not all teenagers !!
