Amazing collector's item
The two figures in the box are a cool addition to any Godzilla collection. Though they don't have the same level of articulation as a standard size S.H.Monsterarts figure, they're good enough for display, and you can get some decent poses out of them. The Kamata-Kun/second form has a rep for being a little flimsy at the head joint, and it's unfortunatly true. The articulation at the feet is also a little feeble in terms of hold. A little care while posing can prevent this from becoming an issue, and this really isn't a toy so won't need to withstand a lot of twisting etc. Shinagawa-Kun/third form is a pretty great figure. Some of the tail joints are a little stiff at first, but they're easy to move when they're warmed up a little.
The paint is great in general - though due to the small size there are some muddy bits, and some of the transitions are fairly stark.
I would have loved it had they done a bit of a "Tail sticking out of water" for completion's sake, but it's not the end of the world. All in all, though - if you're interested and already own the S.H.Monsterarts Shin Godzilla, get the set. They go really well together and are just nice display pieces!

Great region 4 set, but missing a couple of films for completionists.
1 of 1 found this helpful Essentially, this is a collection of 5 of the 7 Godzilla movies, all of those released from 1990 until 1994. The set includes:
Vs Ghidorah
Vs Mothra
Vs Mechagodzilla (II)
Vs SpaceGodzilla
Vs Destoroyah
This means, however, that the set is missing the 1984 reboot (known variously as Godzilla 1985, The Return of Godzilla or simply Godzilla) and the weird and brilliant Godzilla vs Biollante - considering that all 7 films have a running narrative, this carries a slight sting and completionists will need to find copies from a different region where the rights were less difficult to obtain.
In terms of the films included, this is a brilliant collection. Godzilla vs King Ghidorah and Godzilla vs Destoroyah are two of the all time high points of Godzilla's career, with the latter containing some genuinely heart-wrenching moments. The Heisei series has less campy silliness than the later Showa series, and Godzilla had become a proper destructive force again.
All films are presented in English and Japanese audio which is a real bonus, especially if you're looking to add to an existing collection.
Basically, for a new collector this a great starting point which requires some additional effort to complete the set. For a seasoned vet, the visual quality is top-notch and the audio choices are nice to see. For the casual viewer, Godzilla is a big fellow and smashes buildings and roars and fights other big fellows.
On a final note, this is a REGION 4 collection and WILL NOT WORK ON UK REGION 2 DVD PLAYERS.
Region free players will work, or if you have a pc with a dvd drive, then VLC is the best program to use without having to meddle with Windows' dvd Region settings.
