Good Product, but required some repair
First, the bad: the flow adjuster had a leak on mine. The leak let air into the water inlet, which would make an intolerably loud crunching sound when it got to the impeller. I fixed this by smothering the flow adjuster in superglue.
It's unfortunate that this was necessary, because otherwise this is a great product. I recommend it to anyone who needs a low-flow, small sized filter without a flow control knob.
I purchased this item to put on the side of a ~14" cylindrical tank, hoping that it would be small enough to fit on the curved edge. It's a perfect fit. My only additional criticism is that, although the inlet can be adjusted, the "shortest" setting is not very short. A filter designed for small aquariums should be adjustable for a shallow depth.
