Handy Small Form Factor Box
1 of 1 found this helpful Need a low-cost small form factor computer for a media server? How about a Kodi video streaming box for your big screen TV and AV setup that can stream 1080p off the processor's GPU via HDMI? Have an old, expensive slide scanner that only works on XP? Configure a drive for XP (Shuttle has all the drivers for XP available still for download) Slap that in and dust off that old hardware. XP never ran so well. Configure another drive for Win 7 or Win10 and just swap it out for another OS when you want to do something else. Or, buy two and stack them one over the other with XP on one and Win 7 or 10 on the other. Two of these stacked take up about the same space as a mini tower. Anything from an I-3 2120 to the I-7 3770 Sandy and (Ivy bridge -- Ver. 2.0 only) will work on this model.
Easiest chassis ever to work in. The Shuttle is finicky on ram and video cards. See the Shuttle site for the recommended models for both. She supports up to 32 gb of ram in four slots.
Snappy little computer for the money that won't disappoint. Look for one with a Ver. 2.0 motherboard. They are the most upgradeable over the 1.0 motherboard.

Good for sighting in from bench
1 of 1 found this helpful It's light, portable, folds down for easy transport and carry. At the bench, it's sturdy enough to get a solid sight picture and maintain your hold on zero while adjusting the crosshairs with the scope knobs. A .308 is no problem to control in shooting off this rest from a solid bench. The only reason this design doesn't rate five stars is due to the lack of rapid up down adjustment when switching from say 50 to 100 yards. The elevation screw at the rear doesn't have sufficient travel to accomplish that change. You have to fiddle with both the front elevation screws in conjunction with the rear screw to get that amount of travel. Still, even with that annoyance noted, for its intended purpose, sighting in, this works fine....
