Better than expected
I expect a lot from an expensive phone, so I chose a brand with a reliable track record. After exploring every corner of this phone I can say that all the usual glowing things people tend to say about the Samsung Note8 are true.
My concerns when buying were the reported short battery life and the Samsung bloatware.
The relatively small battery they used gives a better than expected charge time because samsung has done a wonderful job at aggressively managing apps which design the battery. I still have full control over letting apps use more power if i need it to.
The bloatware was not nearly as bad as I have seen on other phones which don't even particularly have a reputation for it. It certainly wasn't as bad as I expected. To make it even better, it is possible to uninstall more preinstalled apps on this phone than on any other phone I have used. And if that weren't enough, the level of granular control I have by default is amazing.
Would definitely buy again
