Minimalist lightweight ballhead

I purchased this ball head to go on my lightweight gitzo tripod after using my husband's during the Seattle Women's march. I had my Sony A7S on there which I was using primarily to do video. As you might imagine, trying to do video while being in a march surrounded by hundreds of people was challenging. However what I did was simply elevated the camera on the tripod over my head and did my pans. This was easy for me as the set up with sturdy and lightweight.
