Excellent monitor
(I upgraded to this from a 2013 AOC 21.5" monitor, and paid $285.)
First impressions are great. I did a lot of reading online to see if a 27" monitor was worth it, and a lot of people said it wouldn't be noticeable. However, having it in person, I can say it definitely is a big difference from a flat panel. It really draws you in; and I find that 27" is a good size for me. It's big enough to comfortably watch movies from a small distance, and small enough that you can still sit in front of it to use it for daily things.
The actual panel has nice colors, brightness, and blacks; and despite it being 1080p, I find it to be really clear and great to use. It's fairly easy on my eyes and where I used to get some pain from my old monitor, this one is great (I use the eye saver mode a lot). It's also really fun having the bigger screen in general, as I tend to notice and appreciate a lot of small things my eyes would skim over on a smaller screen.
Cons -
Limited to just an HDMI and a VGA display input
No height adjustment
Overall, I would highly recommend this monitor to an average user in 2020, especially for the price I paid. I wouldn't worry about people saying 1080p is too little for 27", and also note that having a curved monitor is quite a noticeable difference even at 27".

Works perfectly for non-overclockers
My rating is 5-star based on just needing some thermal paste for an air-cooled, not overclocked Intel i7 2600 CPU. Decent amount in each packet and easy to open and apply. Applied it a week or two ago, absolutely no issues since.
