Solid light with great controls!
Two things above others I like most about this light are the push button controls and the zoomable lens. Having a separate strobe/mode button independent of the push button power switch or the remote pressure switch is key! Allows user to choose lighting mode, (low, med, high or strobe), without having to cycle the on off switch everytime. In other words, you can set it on low, and repeatedly turn it on/off in low mode. You can set it to strobe, turn it off, and then on again in strobe mode. Remote pressure switch has two independent switches allowing momentary on off or latched on/off.
Zoomable lens makes this simple 3AAA light bright, and able to project light pretty far.
So far very pleased with this light.

Midi Power! by Robert Guerin 2005
This book is amazing. Exactly what I was looking for to answer all of my questions regarding midi. Not just the basics, but a whole book that breaks everything down to the nitty gritty, explaining the concepts in easy to understand and clear manner that I think anyone could understand. If you want to learn Midi, this is the book you need. As a musician who uses mostly hardware, not software, I needed a learning resource that addressed the many concerns and questions I had about using Midi with multiple hardware devises. This book contains a great deal of information including all the basics of midi, all the advanced technical details of midi, and how to incorporate it in both Hardware, software, and mixed hardware/software environments. A+ book in my opinion. I have great respect for any of the Power! titles covering various music DAW's. In my experience all the Power! books are absolutely top notch, and easy to understand. Great book.

Great dual foot switch
I like this unit a lot as it allows me to set up both a momentary and a latching hold pedal for use with a synthesizer. Why have one or the other, when this allows you to have both? I like to be able to both activate a traditional hold pedal for some sounds, and also use a latching switch to hold notes or chords while using both hands to twist knobs, move slider era, or trigger play other equipment.
Sturdy housing, Roland quality. Even has flanges and slots on the left and right sides for hooking multiple pedals together.
