Great glasses!
Not all of Tom Ford’s optical frames are high quality, in my opinion, but these definitely are. The fit and finish is superior, as is the tortoise color effect. With prescription lenses installed, these are practical but very fashionable everyday frames.

Amazing lens!
3 of 3 found this helpful Yes, it's pretty massive, and a bit heavy (but not as bad as you'd think), but the performance of this lens is everything Leica claims. Fabulous images. Highly recommend.

Amazing, versatile, very well made sunglasses!
These are great glasses. I've owned a dozen different Porsche Design sunglass models, but this is one of my favorites. The quality of materials and workmanship is outstanding, even better than earlier models manufactured in Austria or Italy. The quality of the lenses, in particular, is so much better than polycarbonate lenses used to be: they are thinner, lighter, clearer, and with absolutely no distortion or waviness. Lenses interchange quickly and easily, and spare lenses store safely in the top of the clamshell case. Personally, I like this design better than the 8478s, which offer more lens choices but are much more common and frankly are getting a bit dated for my taste. The 8678s are a new, improved design, drawing from earlier aviator concepts but with a distinctly modern flair to them. A little warning: these are pretty big glasses (67mm width lenses), so if you have a small face, these are pretty much going to swamp you. The upside to their size is that they cover a wide range of eye movement (i.e. you really don't see the frame very much, even at the extreme edges), and are particularly good at preventing sunlight from sneaking through the top of the glasses. Yes, they are expensive, but these are glasses you're likely to have for a long time (and with the spare lens options, they can really take the place of several other sunglasses), so I think they are worth the price.
