Unfortunately, this cap did not fit in position as it was too large for the available space and it would also not have been possible to fit the chain over the small master cylinder. Had it done so, it may have been successful on the narrow necked cylinder.

Just the right top

Seems a lot for a bit of plastic but is just the right job and incorporates the "dipstick" for the fluid.
