Added protection

The Trackimo provides an additional element of protection when flying your quad. If, in the event of an uncontrolled flyaway, you are able to track where the quad has gone for up to 96 hours after the event. I also liked the ability to establish a "fence" so that if the quad strays beyond the boundary, an email is sent to your phone alerting you of this. The added weight is negligible and does not affect stability or performance and mounts to hold the Trackimo are readily available on eBay. All in all, a great gadget to protect your quad investment and give additional peace of mind.

Insta(360)nt success

As my oldest friend commented, "It is one of the best gadgets you have ever purchased". I have owned a Mottr Galileo before but that was for static 360 photos and depended on everyone in the frame remaining static too. The Insta360 offers both excellent 360 static and video and affords the viewer the chance to experience "being there" especially when combined with a VR viewer. Any other words I put here would not do justice to this wonderful gem of an iPhone accessory. Don't delay - buy it now and see what I mean for yourself.

Tantive IV diorama

It was clear from the outset that one Tantive IV diorama set was not going to be enough for what I had in mind. Suffice to say that in the end, I purchased 4 sets as well as making contact with an eBayer who produced 3D printed flooring pieces that worked well with the diorama. The end result was exactly what I was aiming for - a corridor with doors at each end and with doors each side of the corridor halfway along its length.
