Parallel Printer Port to USB Adapter Cable

Needed to connect my old (parallel only) Brother Hl-1230 Mono Laser to my Windows 7 PC This unit from ABC Products worked straight out of the box. Communication established immediately and just needed to locate the compatible driver. In my case there was no specific HL-1230 driver for Windows 7 but a search indicated the HL-1430 was compatible and was available via Windows Update. I had previously bought an alternative manufacture's adapter to try and connect between the two but could not establish any communication whatsoever and had to abandon. My old printer now has a new lease of life!
