FILOFAX HERITAGE A5 COMPACT LEATHER ORGANIZER AGENDA BROWN

Outstanding value for quality

The Heritage Compact Leather organizer is remarkable. I had looked at similar products from LV, and the Filofax stitching and leather quality meets or exceeds what I saw on Rodeo Drive for 4-5x the price. The buffalo leather is supple, looks rich and elegant (great for men and women), and the stitching is perfection - tiny, even and straight. The product came with 2017 week-per-two day diary in cotton cream and a few extra inserts. I use it as a portable calendar reference and catch-all notes system. One complaint (not a deal breaker, in my opinion): the leather flypage in matching buffalo has issues: the pen loop is ugly elastic and problematic (too narrow for most decent pens, and the pen won't "sit" properly); the slip pocket on back of flypage has problems because items won't stay in place in the leather pocket. It's quite thick, and takes up valuable real estate in the binder rings. Hoping Filofax may come up with a different flypage solution that will look sharp with the binder. Overall, impressed with the quality and look of this item, including the paper quality. I have already purchased a smaller, vintage Filofax pocket variety to use as a small notebook for ideas and on-the-fly notes when I'm in lab. Straight forward system for us practical folks, that has a flexible "open" design for those who want to decorate or customize.

Great neroli fragrance

This is one of the best neroli colognes out there. It has a bit of spice in the floral. Also, definitely unisex.
